The Passdown section of Military.Com publishes columns written by an impressive assemblage of celebrities, authors, and military experts.  Regular columnists include Joe Buff, Senator Chuck Hagel, Meredith Leyva, Michael DiMercurio, Oliver North, Dale Brown, Sarah Smiley, Peter Brookes, and former Secretary of the Navy James Webb.

In December of 2004, Jeff Edwards was invited to join the ranks of these excellent writers, and become a regular columnist for Military.Com.  Jeff accepted the invitation, and in the months since, has written a series of provocative and insightful opinion pieces.  Jeff's columns also appear frequently in the print and online editions of the Military Press, as well as on numerous websites and blog sites.  He is rapidly becoming known as the voice of the surface Navy, and ordinary enlisted Sailors and Soldiers.
